It’s actually been a few weeks since I’ve been yard saling. We’ve been on the go and doing other things. We have not been on a dedicated find in quite awhile. However, if I am out and about and see a sign on my way, I will often do a quick drive by to see if there is anything of interest.
That is exactly what happened this Saturday as I was returning home from a morning errand. I could not ignore a street corner with a handful of signs posted. While I wasn’t going to venture too far out of my way, I pulled into the first neighborhood with 2 sales within.
The first sale didn’t offer anything of interest at the right price, but the second one had all kinds of kitchen goods, especially glassware. For some reason, I
am attracted to cut glass pieces. They are simply pretty and offer elegant serving of food items.
This piece was 50 cents. I envision a bowl of fruit.
This set of 5 bowls was $1. I envision ice cream in them.
This piece was 50 cents. I envision nuts or berries in it.
I couldn’t pass up these canisters for 75 cents a piece. These will likely go up north with their clamp down seal to keep our foods safe from buggy critters while we are away.
One sale and a $3.50 investment and I have fresh new glass serving and storage pieces 🙂
